Well, I (Dan) am here by myself while Sarah is in CA – I thought an update would be prudent. There was a nice article about Sarah’s grandpa written in their local newspaper – read about Gerald Bruton here.
I spent last weekend at school working as the auditorium tech guy for a conference that wanted to use our new facility. (It’s really exciting to be able to use our building for things like this) The conference organizer: a women’s study called MotherWise. As you may have guessed from the title, it’s about learning about being a good mother. Fascinating information for me, of course. There were a couple of times I felt necessary to step out. Anyway, this week is pretty normal, except no high schoolers. They are on their spring camping trip.
Another sad event to think about – a van from Taylor University was hit by a semi and 5 people died. My twin brother, sister-in-law, and two teachers here in Chengdu are alumni at the school. Think about them when you talk to the Father tonight. You can read about the incident at this website.
