While surfing the infomation superhighway, I discovered that the National Zoo in Washington, D.C. has a new baby panda, which has recently been named. I found it interesting because the panda has the same last name as our Chinese name – "tai." (If you think I’ve had a sudden bout of dyslexia, rest easy – in China, the last name is always said first. It is not known as the last name; it is your "honorable surname.")
